Rob Manley joins Home Farm after leaving Galway United
Former Galway United striker Rob Manley has joined Leinster Senior League Senior Sunday outfit Home Farm for the second half of the season.
Manley, 26, helped the Tribesmen to the First Division title in 2023 but has opted to return to his schoolboy club’s senior team.
As a youth, Manley lined out for Home Farm before enjoying spells with UCD, Bohemians, Drogheda United, Cabinteely, Longford Town, Bray Wanderers and Galway United in the League of Ireland ranks.
And the Dubliner will be lining out alongside his two brothers Joe and Sean at his local club.
Joe also played in the League of Ireland before with Longford Town and Wexford at senior level before moving to Australia last term.
Sean was already playing for John Hand’s Home Farm side this season before being joined by his two brothers.
Striker Rob - who scored 10 goals in 36 league appearances for Galway over an 18-month spell - will be hoping that his arrival at the Whitehall Stadium can help the Farm to a strong league finish.
They currently sit bottom of the table on 9 points from 11 games having lost to Bluebell United on Friday night.
But Home Farm are just three points behind sixth-placed Bangor Celtic as they sit in 14th place nearing the midway point of the season.
