Noah van Geenen and Jamar Campion-Hinds extend stays with Athlone Town
Key Athlone Town pair Noah van Geenen and Jamar Campion-Hinds have both committed to a second season with the club.
Van Geenen, a defender by trade, impressed last season for Dario Castelo’s side and helped them reach the First Division play-offs.
The Dutchman, 24, played 35 times and scored twice for the Co Westmeath men.
And he will be joined by winger Campion-Hinds who also impressed at the Athlone Town Stadium.
The USA native, 29, played 31 times last term and scored five goals for the club.
He joined from Norwegian second-tier side Sogndal - while Van Geenen moved to the club from RKVV DEM in the Netherlands.
Meanwhile, the Blue and Black of the Midlands have also snapped up the services of Peter McGregor ahead of the new campaign.
The Jamaican, 23, is a striker by trade and will be looking to fill the void left behind by outgoing Frantz Pierrot who has joined Drogheda United.
He has also lined out once for national team in a 1-1 draw against Cameroon in November 2022.
Athlone Town Football Club, are delighted to announce that Jamar Campion Hinds and Noah Van Geenan have both agreed to extend their stay with the club for the upcoming season.
