Alex Kavanagh pens new deal to extend Shelbourne stay
Alex Kavanagh has signed with Shellbourne for her eighth senior season at the club
Having started with Shels at the age 11, Kavanagh was celebrated as the longest standing player in the club celebrating her 13th year in Red.
Now former boss Noel King and his assistant Joey Malone presented a commemorative pennant to the talented midfielder in April.
Climbing through the ranks at the club, the 24-year-old made her senior debut against Castlebar Celtic, where she also contributed a debut goal to their 12-1 triumph.
Kavanagh has over 150 senior appearances with the club with many more to come in the 2024 campaign.
Previously an Ireland under-19 international, the Dubliner appeared 17 times in Green and bagged herself three goals for her country.
Kavanagh has also picked up two appearances for the senior international side.
Never in doubt
