Treaty United have announced the signing of former Ireland under-17 midfielder Thomas Considine.

The right sided midfielder brings a wealth of underage experience having won the under-17 Mark Farren Cup with Bohs as well as making a number of UEFA Youth league appearances.

Considine joined Wexford in the summer of 2021 and quickly became a fan favourite.

He recorded three goals and six assists in 38 appearances in his first eighteen months but sat out much of 2023 due to injury.

Treaty manager Tommy Barrett sang the praises of his new acquisition while speaking to the club website earlier today.

“Thomas is potentially a really good player for us. He was very unlucky with injury last year, but he was back training with us last week where he took part in two sessions fully,” he said.

“Obviously, he’s lacking a bit of fitness but he’s a young lad and he’ll be fit in six or seven weeks.

"He’s a real good signing for us because he’s an exciting winger, left or right, and he can play full-back as well.

“He’s a very intelligent footballer and I think the crowd will be really excited by him.”
