Therese Kinnevey re-signs for Galway United

Galway United have announced the re-signing of Therese Kinnevey ahead of the 2024 Women’s Premier Division campaign.

The defender has committed the club for the coming season after a successful 2023 season which saw Kinnevey make 25 appearances for the Tribeswomen in all competitions as they lifted the All Island Cup and finished in fourth place in the Premier Division.

The 20 year old has incredible experience for her age having made her senior debut for Galway WFC in 2020 after a successful spell with their academy which saw the Galway native win the under 17 WNL league and cup double.

She went on to make nearly 50 appearances for the club before they withdrew from the league after the 2022 season and she became the first player to sign for Phil Trill’s Galway United when they entered the league last year.
