Lynn Craven has put pen to paper to extend her stay at Dalymount Park into 2024.

The Dundalk native came to Phibsborough in 2023 where she has established herself as first team stone-wall defender.

Craven told Bohs media team: "I am absolutely delighted to have re-signed. On a personal level, we didn't finish the season the way we hoped last season, but it was a really enjoyable season for me. I really enjoyed everything that Bohs is about.

"When Ken Kiernan came in, and shared his plans of where he wants the club in the future, it was so exciting and it was a no-brainer for me that this is the club is where I want to be at. I really think we can push on and do good things.

"The thing that stood out to me when speaking to Ken was the attacking way he wants us to play. Nobody could argue that defensively we were solid last season, but what let us down was the goals.

"Ken is really putting an emphasis on how we are going to be a team that goes and plays this year. As an attacking full-back, that is the kind of football I love, and I'm really looking forward to working with him.

After playing with Shelbourne's senior women's side for three years from 2016, Lynn moved to Wexford Youths' in 2019. After two and a half years at Ferrycarrig Park Lynn joined DLR Waves ahead of their 2022 WNL campaign.

After one season at Belfield, Lynn moved to Dublin 7 in 2023, signing for Bohemians.

Manager Kiernan told the club’s website:  "Lynn is an extremely popular person within the group and very good at giving information in real time to her teammates in-game.

"She is an excellent defender in 1v1 scenarios, loves to get forward with a brilliant delivery into the box to find an attacker's run.

"Lynn played a lot of games last season and will be a crucial player for us this season. She is a leader within the group, on and off the pitch, and we look forwards to the impact she can make this season."
