The League of Ireland curtain raiser has been set with the details of this year’s President’s Cup announced today.

The 2024 edition of the competition will take place at Tallaght Stadium on Friday, 9 February with an 8pm kick-off.

This year’s edition will be contested between Premier Division champions Shamrock Rovers and FAI Cup champions St Patrick’s Athletic.

It will be the second time the side’s meet in this fixture with Rovers emerging victorious on penalties in 2022 at the expense of the Saints.

The Hoops will be looking to reclaim the title with Stephen Bradley’s men losing to Derry City last year at the Brandywell.
