Stephen Christoper re-signs for Treaty United
Stephen Christopher has re-signed with Treaty United for the 2024 season.
The 27-year-old midfielder is entering his third full season in Limerick, having joined Treaty United midway through their 2021 campaign. His move followed a two-season stint with Galway United.
With a decade of experience in the League of Ireland, including over 100 appearances with Cobh Ramblers, the Cork native has become one of Treaty United's leading appearance holders at the senior men's level. He has amassed a total of 82 appearances, scoring six goals and contributing nine assists.
In the upcoming 2024 campaign, Christopher is set to be one of the key players under Tommy Barrett's leadership, as the team aims for promotion to the Premier Division after finishing 6th in the First Division last season.
Speaking to TreatyUnitedFC.com, Christopher expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming season: "I’m delighted to be back for another year with Treaty. I have loved my time at the club so far, and we’ll be looking to push on again and give the fans something to cheer about!”
