Wanderers secure Richard Kone on a permanent deal

Wycombe Wanderers are poised to strengthen their squad with the signing of striker Richard Kone.

The 20-year-old forward, who has been displaying his goal-scoring prowess at Athletic Newham in the Essex Senior League, is set to join the Chairboys on a permanent basis following a successful trial period.

Kone's journey with Wycombe began in pre-season, and his performance has been impressive.

He demonstrated his scoring ability by netting in a friendly match against Aldershot Town in July and continued to shine with more goals in recent practice matches against Aldershot and Barnet.

His signing marks the first new addition to the Wanderers in the January transfer window.
