Fionn Doherty re-signs for Treaty United

Treaty United have announced Fionn Doherty as the latest player to commit to the club ahead of the 2024 League of Ireland season.

Manager Tommy Barrett expressed his happiness to the club website: “Fionn is a great player and having him signed for 2024 shows the pathway that is there for our academy players.

“He can play in a number of positions and has the right attitude to build a career for himself in the League of Ireland, so I’d expect him to make a further impact this coming season.”

Doherty came through the Treaty academy player after joining the club as a schoolboy.

He made his first team debut in 2022 as a 17-year-old and has made 14 appearances since then despite an injury hampered season in 2023.
