Leal commits to Athlone Town for new season

Matthew Leal is the latest player to commit to Athlone Town ahead of the new season.

The American has re-signed with the midlands club having joined the club midway through the 2022 season.

He made 21 appearances for the side and scored three goals as the side made the playoffs.

The defender has spent time in the youth systems of Belenenses, Sacavenense and Casa Pia before arriving at Athlone.
