Pierce Phillips re-signs for Cobh Ramblers

Cobh Ramblers have announced Pierce Phillips as the latest player to commit to the club ahead of the 2024 League of Ireland season.

Manager Gary Hunt had this to say on the re-signing: “It’s great to have another one of our experienced players in Pierce sign on again for 2024. He has become an important part of our club being one of the longest members of the squad.

“From speaking with him, I can see how motivated he is to kick on this season and become an integral member of the team, and I am looking forward to working with him.”

Phillips began his career at Rockmount before joining Cork City at underage level.

He first signed for Ramblers on loan in 2018 before making the move permanent in 2020.

Last year was one of the most consistent for the vice-captain in which he made nearly 30 appearances and scoring once.
