Aaron Connolly commits to 2024 with Athlone Town

Midfielder Aaron Connolly has become the latest player to sign up for another year with Athlone Town.
The former Shelbourne youngster played a starring role in the Co Westmeath side’s play-off finish in 2023.
And the Kildare native will be back for more.
Connolly, 21, played 33 times in the league for Athlone and also featured in both play-off legs against Waterford.
He also scored once for the club.
His return comes as a boost to the Town with Dylan Hand, German Fuentes Rodriguez, Oisin Duffy, Enda Minogue, Daniel McKenna and Ruban Candal all signing up already.
