Heidi Mackin commits to Cork City for 2024 season

Cork City have announced Heidi Mackin as the latest player to re-sign for the club ahead of the new season.

“I’m delighted to be wearing the City jersey again this year. It’s a privilege to represent this club. We’ve got a very competitive squad, and I’m really looking forward to the giving everything I can to the team,” she said, speaking to the club’s media team.

The Ireland youth international has come up through the academy ranks with the Rebels before making her debut during the 2022 season when she made four appearances in the Women’s Premier Division.

Mackin went on to play 15 times in the Premier Division in 2023 and is set to play in her third season for Cork City at senior level next year.
