Cobh Ramblers have announced Cian Browne as the latest player to commit to the club ahead of the 2024 League of Ireland season.

“I’m delighted to have Cian back for the new season as I am sure the fans will be too. He is someone I know quite well and I know what he will give week in, week out,” manager Gary Hunt said, speaking to the club’s website.

“As well as his footballing attributes, what Cian will bring in terms of his application and attitude is what makes him the player he is.

“This is a big season for him now to back up those strong performances from 2023 and I am sure he will stand up to the challenge.”

Bowne began his career spending time in the academies of both Wexford and his native Waterford, he signed for Ramblers ahead of the 2023 season from Villa FC and made 28 appearances during the season.
