Kerwick signs permanent deal with Cobh Ramblers
Waterford native Liam Kerwick has signed a permanent contract with Cobh Ramblers and will be part of new manager Gary Hunt’s first team squad for the 2024 season.
Hunt spoke to the Ramblers media team this week and said, “Liam is delighted to be back on board for the new season and is keen to show more of what he is capable of in 2024.
“Having worked with him before I am aware of his dedication to becoming the best he can be and I’m looking forward to seeing Liam in action for Cobh this season.”
Kerwick was a member of Waterford's under 17 squad in 2019 and he progressed to the under 19 side in 2020.
In 2022 he was part of then Waterford manager Ian Morris’ senior first team squad.
In August of 2022 the 20-year-old went on loan to Cobh and during the 2023 season he made 15 appearances and scored six goals as the Rams got to the Promotion Play Off series of games.
