Shelbourne has re-signed explosive winger Kerri Letmon, extending her stay in Drumcondra for another season after being signed by Noel King in 2023 from DLR Waves.

The 25-year-old scored three times in 15 appearances last season as Shels finished second in the league behind champions Peamount United.

“I’m delighted to have signed back with Shels for next season. Since joining, I have felt nothing but welcomed by the team, the fans, and everyone who is a part of the club,” said Kerri.

“With the strengths we have in the squad and staff, I’m looking forward to seeing how we can progress together, and I’m looking to achieve as much as possible,” she said.

New Shelbourne Women’s manager Eoin Wearen expressed his delight at the winger's re-signing.

“We’re thrilled to have Kerri returning for the 2024 season. She made a big impact last year and showed that she can be a real asset to the team going forward,” he said.

“She is positive, direct, and an old-school winger who is excellent in one-on-one situations and she wants to make things happen in the final third.”

Letmon’s re-signing follows that of forward Megan Smyth-Lynch, stalwart Pearl Slattery, and manager Eoin Wearen through the gates of Tolka Park ahead of the 2024 season.

Shels will kick off the 2024 campaign at home against Sligo Rovers, with Letmon hoping to hit the ground running after her first season north of the Liffey.

“I’m very grateful to be given the opportunity to extend my time here at Shels and I’m looking forward to putting in the work with the girls again next year,” she said.
