Kaylem Harnett pens new two-year deal with Wexford
Ireland underage international Kaylem Harnett has signed a new two-year deal to keep him at Wexford until the end of the 2025 season.
Harnett, 16, made one senior league appearance for the Slaneysiders in a 3-2 loss against Bray Wanderers during the 2023 campaign.
And he was often named on the bench with James Keddy’s first-team squad - while also featuring in a Leinster Senior Cup loss to Shelbourne.
But he has been handed a major vote of confidence by the club with a new deal.
Harnett was named Ireland under-15 Player of the Year in 2022 and also shone for the under-17s this year.
He even played a key role for Colin O’Brien’s side in qualifying for the Elite Phase of the under-17 European Championships.
