Ireland to host Belgium and Switzerland in March
The Football Association of Ireland has announced an exciting line-up for the Men's National Team's first two fixtures of 2024, with a home double-header set against Belgium and Switzerland at the Aviva Stadium.
Fans can look forward to welcoming Belgium on Saturday, March 23rd, with the game kicking off at 5pm.
This match revisits the memorable encounter from March 2022 during the FAI Centenary celebration match.
That game, an international friendly, ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw, highlighted by Chiedozie Ogbene's spectacular overhead kick.
The excitement continues as Switzerland visits Dublin on Tuesday, March 26th, for a 7.45pm kickoff.
This marks their first return to Dublin since September 2019, when David McGoldrick's late goal clinched a 1-1 draw in the UEFA EURO 2020 qualifier at the Aviva Stadium.
In celebration of these upcoming matches, the FAI has relaunched their Season Ticket for a limited time, making it available until Friday, December 22nd.
Additionally, Ireland is set to host another international friendly double-header in June, with the opponents yet to be announced.
The team's schedule will then lead into the UEFA Nations League, starting in September, with the draw for the competition scheduled for Thursday, February 8th.
