Mendez and O'Brien commit to Cork City ahead of new season

Cork City have announced the re-signing of Jesse Mendez and Ellie O’Brien.

Mendez is entering her second straight season with the Rebels having returned to the club from Treaty United ahead of the 2023 season.

She made 17 appearances in the Women’s Premier Division and helped her side to reach the All-Island Cup semi-finals where they were narrowly beaten by Cliftonville.

O’Brien is a Cork City Academy graduate, she made her senior debut in 2022 and went on to make 15 appearances in the Women’s Premier Division in 2023 for Danny Murphy’s side.
