Ireland men’s u16 squad named for England test
Manager Paul Osam has named an 18-player squad for the upcoming friendly against England on Friday afternoon.
The game will take place at St. George’s Park with Ireland going into the game off the back of five wins out of five.
It is the first match for the team since retained the Victory Shield last month overcoming Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
This will be the first meeting between the nations at this age grade since 2019 when Ireland defeated England on penalties following a 3-3 draw. Ireland’s Evan Ferguson and England’s Rico Lewis were involved that day.
