Galway United has confirmed that 19-year-old midfielder Jenna Slattery will continue her journey with the senior women’s team into the 2024 season.

After an impressive debut year with the club, Slattery has committed to The Tribeswomen for her second season.

In her initial season, the Limerick native became a central figure for United, making 26 appearances across all competitions and contributing eight goals.

Her consistent performances were recognised when she received the SSE Airtricity Women’s Player of the Month award in May.

Prior to her time in Galway, Slattery began her senior career with Treaty United in 2020, followed by a stint at Galway WFC in 2022.

On the international stage, she has donned the Irish jersey at the U19 level, scoring twice in 11 appearances from 2021 to 2023.
