Kerry re-sign Nathan Gleeson and Cian Brosnan
First Division Kerry have unveiled the re-signings of talented pair Cian Brosnan and Nathan Gleeson.
The two players have come through the ranks at Mounthawk Park and made their respective senior League of Ireland bows during the 2023 campaign under now former boss Billy Dennehy.
And they will both be looking to push ahead of the 2024 campaign.
Brosnan made 23 appearances for Kerry in 2023 and 22 of those came off the bench.
He also bagged a goal in the Carlisle Grounds against Bray Wanderers during the summer.
Meanwhile, Gleeson featured in 21 games last season and scored in the Kingdom’s 3-2 win away against Athlone Town.
“We’re delighted to have Nathan and Cian back for 2024,” Head Coach Conor McCarthy said. “Nathan and Cian are two exciting young attacking players for us and have the potential to play at a very high level.
“Last season was both of their first seasons at senior football level so I’m sure the experiences of last season will stand to them going into this season.
“It’s great to have these lads recommitting to us for next year and I look forward to seeing their progress coming into 2024.”
