SSE Airtricity extends League of Ireland sponsorship through 2026

The League of Ireland has cemented its relationship with SSE Airtricity by securing a sponsorship extension that will see the energy company continue as the principal partner for the senior divisions until 2026.

This commitment will carry the partnership into its fifteenth season, with an emphasis on sustainability, inclusion, and diversity programs, alongside player development opportunities.

FAI Commercial Director Sean Kavanagh welcomed the announcement, stating, "This announcement further strengthens the excellent relationship we have with SSE Airtricity and provides a platform for the League of Ireland to grow even further as interest reaches new levels year on year."

Mark Scanlon, League of Ireland Director, also expressed enthusiasm for the renewed partnership.

"We’re delighted to renew our long-standing partnership with SSE Airtricity... Over the next three years, we look forward to working with the team at SSE Airtricity to help further grow and develop our game and unlock the potential that the League of Ireland has to offer."

Adding to these sentiments, Ashley Morrow, SSE Airtricity Head of Brand, Advertising and Sponsorship, remarked on the longstanding partnership and future aspirations.
