Shamrock Rovers unveil re-signings of Rory Gaffney and Leon Pohls
Four in a row champions Shamrock Rovers have confirmed that striker Rory Gaffney has committed his future to the club for another year.
The Galwegian, 34, has been one of the leading lights for the Hoops under boss Stephen Bradley in recent years.
And his re-signing will come as a big boost to the Dublin 24 outfit.
Gaffney played 33 times in the league for Rovers this season and scored eight goals. He also recorded eight assists for Stephen Bradley’s troops.
He will be joined at the club next season by goalkeeper Leon Pohls.
Pohls has been the understudy to first-choice Alan Mannus for the last number of years but he will be looking to make his mark at the club now that Mannus has retired.
The German, 26, made 16 appearances for the Hoops during the 2023 campaign in the absence of Mannus.
