Ten-man Manchester United twice surrendered a lead as they fell to a shock 4-3 defeat to København at Parken Stadium.

Substitute Roony Bardghji - named after Red Devils legend Wayne Rooney - volleyed home three minutes from time to leave Erik ten Hag’s side bottom of Group A.

Meanwhile, Bayern München are through to the knockout stages as Harry Kane’s double saw the Germans top the group despite Cédric Bakambu pulling back one late for Galatasaray.

In Copenhagen, United led 2-0 inside half an hour thanks to a pair of tap-ins from former København striker Rasmus Hojland, whose brother Oscar was on the bench for the hosts.

The first goal came after three minutes when fit-again Aaron Wan-Bissaka fed Scott McTominay with a sumptuous through ball and the Scot laid it on a plate for Hojlund.

And the Dane further punished his former club just before the half-hour mark as a rapid counter finished with Kamil Grabara parrying Alejandro Garnacho’s shot into his path.

But Hojlund’s strike partner put the ‘rash’ in Marcus Rashford with an ill-timed lunge that saw him stand on Elias Jelert’s ankle.

And København notched two in injury time, former Celtic and Southampton winger Mohamed Elyounoussi netting before Diogo Gonçalves slotted home a penalty awarded for Harry Maguire’s handball.

United retook the lead from the spot as Lukas Lerager was penalised for handball and Bruno Fernandes dispatched the penalty in emphatic fashion.

But Lerager lost Diogo Dalot to sidefoot home an equaliser at the back post before 17-year-old Roony blasted home the winner late on.

Arsenal took a further step towards progression from Group B as they made it back-to-back wins over Sevilla at the Emirates with goals from Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Sako.

And PSV overtook Lens on goal difference with a slender 1-0 win in Eindhoven, captain Luuk de Jong settling the tie with an early strike.

In Group C, Real Madrid ensured their passage to the last 16 with a facile 3-0 win over Sporting Braga despite an early scare.

Andriy Lunin saved an early penalty from Álvaro Djaló and Real took full advantage thanks to goals from Brahim Diaz, Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo.

And Napoli are one win from qualification despite being held to a 1-1 draw by previously pointless Union Berlin, Matteo Politano cancelling out Napoli’s David Fofana’s opener.

Internazionale and Real Socieded both secured progression from Group D thanks to wins over RB Salzurg and Benfica respectively.

In the early game, three goals in the first quarter from Mikel Merino, Mikel Oyarzabal and Ander  Barrenetxea set Sociedad on their way to a 3-1 win, with Rafa Silva responding for Benfica.

And a late penalty from Lautaro Martinez sealed Inter’s passage with a 1-0 win over Salzburg, and they will duke it out with Sociedad on the final day for top spot.
