Week 6
Quite a few years ago a disgruntled punter asked me "Who owns the clubs?" when all six Premier Division games finished all square.
With two games being postponed last week it means that for the last two series of Premier Division games all eight games have finished in a draw. Not ideal for a punter trying to pick winners.
What this clearly shows is that there is very little between any of the teams. Even Bohs have drawn their last two games, both at home.
They travel to Tallaght on Friday night and although Rovers are struggling in the table they've recently added Thomas Stewart and Chris Turner. At Dundalk last season Turner proved to be one of the top players in the league and he make a big difference.
With their good record against Bohs last season and winning both games in Tallaght the value could be to swim against the tide and back the Hoops.
Another team to sign another player was Galway, adding Anto Flood to boost their strikeforce. Sporting Fingal will be missing McFaul and Williams and the Terryland pitch surely won't suit their style of play. Again taking the draw out of the equation back Galway to win Draw no Bet.
Another Galway team capable of a result is Salthill Devon. They managed their first goal against Wexford last weekend and can possibly get their first point by holding Monaghan.
Punters Picks:
Rovers to beat Bohs - 3/10
Galway Draw no Bet v Fingal - 1/10
Salthill to draw with Monaghan - 2/10
