The FAI have confirmed the re-arranged fixtures for the matches that fell foul of the weather on Friday.

Storm Babet means two games have been refixed for this Sunday, with Monday's match in Cork moved a week.

Shamrock Rovers v Drogheda United

The Shamrock Rovers and Drogheda United match at Tallaght Stadium originally scheduled for Friday night will now be played this coming Sunday with an 8pm kick-off.

Drogheda are unbeaten against Rovers in their last six league encounters – four draws and two wins.

The Hoops have seven league home wins in a row since their last loss – which was to Drogheda United 2-1 in Tallaght in May.

Since then they have kept six cleansheets and only conceded one goal at home in league action.

UCD v Cork City

The UCD and Cork City match at the UCD Bowl that was cancelled early on Friday will now be played at 3pm this Sunday 22 October.

Cork City v Shamrock Rovers

The previous two match moves were facilitated by switching the Cork City and Shamrock Rovers game that was set for this coming Monday at Turner’s Cross, to next Monday, Bank Holiday 30 October, with the kick off time yet to be confirmed.

Title race

In the title race on Friday, Derry City dropped two points at home to Shelbourne while St. Patrick’s Athletic won 2-0 in Dalymount.

Both teams are now on 59 points, three behind Rovers who have four games left, but the Hoops have two games in hand on Derry and one on Pats.
