Sinead Farrelly returns for Girls in Green as Gleeson names her squad for Albania double header
Interim Head Coach Eileen Gleeson has included NJ/NY Gotham player Sinead Farrelly for the upcoming UEFA Nations League home and away games against Albania.
Farrelly, who missed last months game with a back injury that prevented her travelling, comes back in to a 26-player squad for the games on Friday October 27 in and the away game in Shkoder on Tuesday, October 31.
Caitlin Hayes, who had been out with injury Celtic, retains her place in the squad.
Midfielder Erin McLaughlin, fresh from helping Peamount United secure the Women's Premier Division title, earns herself a recall and is the only home based player in the squad.
Bristol City player Megan Campbell, who missed the World Cup, is back in the squad.
Injuries rule out Niamh Fahey, Aoife Mannion, Claire Walsh, Tara O'Hanlon, Ruesha Littlejohn, Roma McLaughlin, Jess Ziu and Leanne Kiernan.
There is no place for Marissa Sheva and Savannah McCarthy has not been selected – she has missed Shamrock Rovers’ recent matches due to illness.
