Shamrock Rovers drawn against Shelbourne in FAI Cup semi-final

Collie O’Neill’s Shamrock Rovers will face Shelbourne in the semi-finals of the FAI Cup at Tallaght Stadium.
The Hoops reached the last four of the competition following a thumping 5-0 win over Cork City at Bishopstown.
Goals from Stephanie Zambra, Joy Ralph, Lauren Kelly and an Aine O’Gorman brace did the damage for Rovers.
But they will face Shelbourne who came through a tie against DLR Waves in the last eight of the competition.
Waves took the lead with a goal from Freya Roche after just seven minutes.
But Noel King's side hit back via Megan Smyth-Lynch soon after. Morgan Rees then scored to seal the win for Shels.
In the other semi-final, Athlone Town will travel to Sligo Rovers.
Ciaran Kilduff’s side knocked Peamount United out of the quarter-finals after a dramatic penalty shootout win.
Sligo Rovers on the other hand beat Bohemians in the last round at Dalymount Park.
Josie Loughrey’s goal dumped Bohs out of the competition.
