LSL Senior Sunday round-up: Wayside Celtic maintain unbeaten start while St Mochta’s and Tolka Rovers claim wins
Wayside Celtic remain on top of the Leinster Senior League top-flight following a scintillating 5-2 win away to Killester-Donnycarney.
Wayside have picked up seven points from their first three games this season – but this win was their most impressive yet.
Former Cabinteely striker Luke Clucas netted twice for the South Dubliners while Dylan O’Connor, Cian Fay and Tom O’Hanlon also found the net.
However, Killester-Donnycarney did at least score two consolation goals through Rob Dunne and Dean Kelly at Hadden Park.

Meanwhile, St Mochta’s ran out 3-2 winners over Liffey Wanderers but it was not without a late scare.
A second-half strike from Luke McWilliams and a brace from Mikey Scott set Mochta’s on their way to a comfortable 3-0 win.
But two late goals from Caleb Gyasi ensured a nervy finale for Brian McCarthy’s men as they held on for a second win of the season.

Lucan United also claimed a late point against Kilbarrack United in a thrilling 2-2 draw.
Goals from Clayton Maher and ex-Bohemians defender Daniel Byrne either side Luke Walsh’s strike looked like it had sealed an important win for Kilbarrack at O’Hanlon Park.
But Mark Byrne was on hand to level in injury time to salvage a point for the hosts.
