Harry Kane, in his debut appearance for FC Bayern Munich, left an indelible mark as the German giants cruised to a 4-0 victory against Werder Bremen.

The former Spurs striker contributed with a goal, an assist, and showcased an immense effort throughout the game, making it a dream start to his Bundesliga journey.

"I'm thrilled. Of course I was a bit nervous with the new surroundings and the new club. But once I was on the pitch, instinct took over and I'm happy we got a good result," said Kane, reflecting on his debut.

The English forward's acute sense of the game was evident as he consistently moved to the flanks, creating spaces for his teammates Jamal Musiala, Leroy Sané, and Kingsley Coman to exploit.

His assist set up Sané for the first goal just four minutes in. Kane netted the crucial second goal in the 74th minute.

Beyond Kane's performance, Bayern's overall display was seen as much-needed after their recent Supercup defeat to RB Leipzig.

The striker observed, "It was a good step forward from the Leipzig game. We had a few chances in the first half and could have wrapped it up earlier. But we also defended better and we're very happy with a clean sheet."

Thomas Tuchel, Bayern's head coach, was full of praise for Kane and the team's cohesive effort: "We played a very solid, very good game from start to finish...The assist was great, the goal was a classic. He [Kane] is absolutely top, as a person, his presence, how he trains and of course his quality."

Sven Ulreich, commenting on the match, highlighted the team's execution of their game plan. "Today we delivered exactly what we'd planned and what we'd worked on in training... That was the key to success today."
