Cork City swoop for Andrii Kravchuk ahead of league run-in
Premier Division relegation battlers Cork City have unveiled the signing of Andrii Kravchuk.
Kravchuk, 24, is a former Ukrainian under-21 international and was recently training with Manchester City.
His most recent club was Vorskla Poltava in Ukraine.
“I am very pleased to be in Cork and have signed for Cork City,” Kravchuk said. “I am looking forward to playing with the team.
“I hope that I can help the club to get some positive results. I look forward to playing in front of the Cork City fans at Turner’s Cross.”
Kravchuk joins Malik Dijksteel in joining the Leesiders this week.
“We are very pleased to have Andrii on board,” interim Cork City boss Liam Buckley said. “He is a talented player who has played at a high level.
“He is a midfield player who is technically good on the ball and he will give us another option in the middle of the park.
“We look forward to seeing him in action and hope that he can make a positive contribution.”
