Manchester United has officially announced the transfer of Brazil international, Fred, to Fenerbahce. The move is subject to international clearance.
After a successful medical and agreeing to personal terms, Fred is set to join the Turkish Super Lig side.
The transfer progressed rapidly, with the midfielder flying to Istanbul for his medical tests just a day after the clubs announced a mutual agreement on the move.
Fred has been a part of the Manchester United setup since joining from Ukrainian team Shakhtar Donetsk in 2018.
During his tenure with the Reds, he accumulated 213 appearances scoring 14 times.
The 30-year-old's versatility saw him function in both offensive and defensive midfield capacities. Fred's final appearance for the Reds was in a friendly match victory against Lyon in Edinburgh.
