A strong second half performance saw the Galway side get the better of the side from the east coast.
After a tight tense opening quarter in the first half the home county side took the lead with seventeen minutes gone with a controlled effort from Kian Doole. On the stroke of half time the lead was doubled with a finish from Cillian Costello.
The second half turned into the Sean Hoade show with the Maree Oranmore man netting twice to guarantee his side all three points.

It was Jake McConville’s day again with the Glenavon sharpshooter netting another hat trick.
From the outset the academy side took control of the ball netting early through McConville. He finished his hat trick firing in two more as the half carried on. His teammate tried to emulate him, but Callum Cope only netted two to make sure his side would finish this early morning tie with victory.

A comeback from the Limerick side ensured they would start day three with a win.
It was the northeast side that took the lead with a cultured finish from Finn Madine.Dundalk controlled the tie up until the change of ends. The wind was causing trouble for both teams it was the Limerick side that started to use it better. Eventually they leveled the tie with a SCOTT NUGENT effort. They eventually made sure of the victory through CATHAL MCNAMARA.

An Evan Daly double saw the northern side overcome the Galway side.
Mervue battled hard from the start with the aid of the breeze but could not break through a resolute Donegal defense. The northern side took advantage with an Evan Daly striker before the same man doubled his tally for the tournament.

All Limerick/ family affair with Aaron Hackett. playing against her sister Ellen Hackett with coming out on top.
Neither of the siblings got on the scoresheet in this game but Murroe got the better of their Limerick counterparts
Murroe used that swirling breeze to their advantage early on, firing in two goals firstly from the boot of SAM WALSH before his teammate JAMES LONG. The county side fought back into the game and narrowed the gap with a RORY MAGUIRE effort. They could not manage to equalize before the final whistle.

The home side got the better of their Munster neighbors, firing in seven penalties after the sides could not find the net in normal time.

The all-Antrim affair with only five miles separating the two sides outside Belfast.
With both teams knowing each other so well this semifinal was always going to be a tough battle from the outset as both midfields canceled each other out.Eventually, with a couple of minutes to go in the first half, the Crusaders took the lead, with a strike from Michael Temetan.
The second half was much the same as both sides found it hard to get used to that famous Salthill wind. The tie finished eventually with a second goal through that man Temetan again.

It was the Kerry town side that came out on top in this six-goal thriller with a Jayden Hurley double eventually proving to be the difference in the end.
This tie was ended to end from the start as both attacks were getting on the end of some fantastic play but could not convert early on. It was Hurley who eventually gave his side the lead before Cian Hegarty and Brendan McHugh. Killarney fired their final goal of the game through the aforementioned Hurley. The opposition managed to battle back with two efforts first from Brannan McCaul before his teammate Conor Goodman narrowed the gap to two in the end.

A Senan Brady double was the major difference in this final group game.
All the early pressure in this tie came from the Longford side as the opposition could not get control of the ball. The control eventually led to the first major with a Ryan O'Donnell effort. As half time neared, they doubled the lead with a Fionn McCormack Crowe strike.
After the interval they kept the pressure on, and a Senan Brady double finished off the scoring in the game.

A goal hungry academy side got the better of the Rossies Lions side.
After a great opening few minutes from the Connacht side firing in two early goals from Ethan Neary and Finn Murphy. This kicked their opponents into gear with both Josh O'Donnell and Charlie Bonner netting doubles to give their side the win.

A dominant performance from the southeast side even against the elements saw them get the better of their Munster counterparts.
Even against the wind the Wicklow side gained a foothold from the outset firing in an early goal through midfielder Rian abell Ward.
The second half playing with the wind Wicklow pushed forward with their opponent’s goalkeeper standing strong. Eventually they ensured three points Alessio Coppola and Kevin Yan fishing the scoring.

It was a comfortable victory win for the Connacht side against their Munster counterparts.
A Rory Hawkshaw double meant his Tigers side were in complete cruise control in this game. It was then the turn of Finn O'Mahony and Ewan Devine to finish off the scoring for the dominant Rossie side. Their Cork opponents managed to narrow the gap to win with Sean Dollard narrowing the gap to three by the final whistle.

After halving got through their group Limerick’s County side managed to get the better of Dundalk by a goal in either half.
The opening goal of the game was a well taken long range effort from DONAGH HORGAN just as the ref was about to blow up the half time whistle. The second half was a battle as Dundalk pushed forward wind assisted. It was Limerick who broke away on the counterattack with a well taken finish from RIAN MARTIN. This sent them through to the final on Saturday.

In the battle of the southeast, it was the Wicklow side that overcame the elements to win.
From the opening whistle Wicklow gained momentum creating chances at will as the Carlow net minder stood strong on three occasions early on, The Wicklow goalie drove a ball down the field that Cian Murphy latched onto to give his side the lead. This is how it would stay till the break.
Once the game began again Carlow were awarded a penalty which was converted by Cormac Lowry. It was that man Murphy who stopped up again ten minutes from time to send his die through to the final.

In a fantastic semifinal Clare managed to fight their way into a final on Saturday.
They took an early lead as Kevin Mulqueen found the back of the net. The tie became more end to end as both sides tried to get that elusive second goal. The Munster side eventually broke through with Ben Lyne finding the net. A Ryan Kenny effort narrowed the gap for the opposition, but they could not manageto level the tie before the final whistle.

This semifinal was won by the west Limerick side in a penalty shootout after neither side could be separated in 50 minutes.
After an early Kyle Smith effort, it was canceled out before the final whistle by Eoghan Kelly.

The Galway east vs west battle was won by the home side from Drom.
A Jean (m) Harlamovs double saw the home side take the lead into the break. They kept up the pressure but could not fire in the third goal. Maree Oranmore battled back into the tie and half the deficit in their final group game with a Cillian Costello effort.
They tried their best to level the tie but could not break through for a second goal as their home side came away with all three points.

The Connacht girls’ teams produced a fine one-one draw in their final group game.
It was the home county side that grabbed the early advantage with a. Kayla Capone effort with the breeze at their backs. Early in the second half the tie was leveled when KATIE O'BRIEN found the back of the net. Neither side could muster a second goal before the full-time whistle.

It was another win for the home side with the select team earning victory in a six-goal classic.
The northwestern side took an earlylead in Drom on Friday afternoon powering into a two-goal lead with efforts from Leah Waters and colleague Aoife Tiernan.
After this bright start the home side started to wrestle back momentum as they netted twice through Kate McNamara before Keela Donnelly Meehan and Jessie Tollett joined in on the scoring frenzy.

A second half comeback saw Rovers beat the English side making their way into the final tomorrow.
Leeds controlled the ball from the outset as they managed to handle that gusty Salthill breeze. They eventually took the lead midway through the half with a Jacob Howard effort. The second half of this semifinal was all the opposition as Sligo fought back to gain momentum. They equalized in the tie when Oisin Nolan. With the final kick of the semi-Jack McGowan rattled the back of the net to give his side victory.

It was the northern side that got the better of the fAI side with a late strike on the cusp of full-time.
Anyone in attendance could see that there would not be much between these sides as they battled for the elusive final place. Glenavon only needed a draw to ensure their place in the final. This was evident as the FAI side pushed forward but could not break down a resolute Glenavon defense.
With only a few minutes left in the tie Glenavon struck for a goal through Harry Dubourdieu
To pave their way into the final.

Midlands produced a win against a battling southeast side as the rain started to come down heavy in Drom.
The table toppers were awarded an early penalty in the game which was converted by Tadgh Slattery. Wicklow stood strong for the rest of the half producing some heroic defending in the process. With this defending, the wall was broken late in the half when Diarmuid O'Higgins finished well. The second half saw neither side adding to the scoring as the rain and wind worsened.

This five-goal thriller saw the Galway City side beating their Limerick City counterparts.
The breeze was causing awful havoc as the evening progressed with both sides trying to take advantage of it. The Galway side who wasmore used to it gained a three-goal advantage with efforts from Daniel Keating, ChiChi Adams and Sean Nnadi. The Limerick city side wrestled back the advantage in the tie and narrowed the gap to one with strikes from JACK DUGGAN and CATHAL MCNAMARA. These efforts were not enough as Mervue took the spoils in this intercity derby.

It was the Cork side that got the better of this all-Munster affair.
The Cork side managed to finish off the group with all three points with strikes from Tim O'Herlihy, Will Twomey and Liam O'Sullivan.
Clare managed a late consolation off the boot of Cobhan O'Brien to ensure theory finished day three with a goal in their final group game.

A second half free kick against the Atlantic breeze saw the southeast side get the better of the home side to make their way into tomorrow's final.
Playing with the aid of that swirling Atlantic breeze Wicklow gained the early momentum and netted early when Kevin Yan angled effort found the corner of the net. Wicklow tried to double their advantage but salthill stood strong at the back.
The home side found an equalizer early in the second half when Rian Clery's long range effort flew into the net. Against the breeze Wicklow pushed for the winner and found it when an Alessio Coppola free kick found the top corner ensuring their spot in tomorrow's final.

Finn Harps Academy 4
The northern academy made sure that they would beat their northeast neighbors with four well taken goals.
Longford did take the lead against the run of play through Stephen Kelly on the counterattack as the Harps. Within minutes that tie was level when Oliver Loughran before Jayden Buchanan gave his side the lead. Finn extended their advantage with two more well taken goals after some fine team play with Buchanan and Lewis Quinn finishing the scoring in this tie.

A Ronan Keating hat trick was the difference between there and the provincial border.
It was MO that flew out of the blocks with three goals with three goals from Keating, two of them being deflected effort that found their way into the net. His teammate Matthew Herrick finished the scoring for the Galway side.
