Ajax sign Manchester City winger Carlos Borges

Dutch side Ajax have finalized the signing of Portuguese winger Carlos Borges from Manchester City.
Borges has signed a contract with Ajax until June 30, 2028. The transfer fee is confirmed to be €14 million, a figure that could potentially rise to €19 million depending on certain conditions.
Borges has been a product of the Manchester City youth academy since 2014, and last season saw him donning the jersey for City's U21 team.
Not only did he play an important role in leading the team to a Premier League 2 championship, but he also emerged as the top scorer and was named PL2 Player of the Season.
The winger scored 21 goals from 24 appearances as City claimed a historic third consecutive PL2 title.
Born in Sintra, Portugal, on March 19, 2004, Borges has represented Portugal at youth international level.
Before this transfer, his contract with Manchester City was set to run until 2026.
