Danny Lafferty's suspension reduced from six to four matches following appeal

An independent Appeal Committee of the FAI has upheld Sligo Rovers FC’s appeal on the severity of Daniel Lafferty’s six match suspension following his red card for violent conduct in the Sports Direct Men’s FAI Cup First Round fixture versus Drogheda United FC on 21 July, 2023.
In accordance with FAI Disciplinary Regulations, Daniel Lafferty will now serve a four match suspension.
