Bristol City send Wilde out on season long loan

London City Lionesses have confirmed the loan signing of Maddi Wilde on a season long loan from Bristol City.
The 19 year old made 15 appearances for the Robins as they earned promotion to the Women’s Super League.
“I heard about the new set-up at K Sports [Cobdown] and it really made me want to come here,” Wilde said, speaking to the club’s website.
“It feels like a really nice environment to play in and I spoke to other players who felt the same way about the Club. I know what London City is trying to achieve and I’m looking forward to trying to help the team push towards that.”
Wilde will be joining Republic of Ireland international Kyra Carusa at the Lionesses next season.
“Maddi had a very competitive season with Bristol City last year, so we expect her to come across and bring that experience of promotion this season. With that, she’s the kind of person we want on board,” Assistant Hea Coach Nicola Williams told the club’s website.
