Hopcroft joins Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace have announced the signing of Shanade Hopcroft.
The winger joins the club from London City Lionesses where she scored four times in 32 Women’s Championship appearances.
“Shanade is a player I know the Crystal Palace fans will love: one who plays with passion, is exciting on the ball, and is full of confidence and flair,” Head of Women’s Football Grace Williams said, speaking to the club’s official website.
“We look forward to welcoming her to south London and adding her talent to the exciting squad we are building for the season ahead.”
The 25 year old began her career with Chelsea and moved on scholarship to Daytona State College in 2017 before playing for the Colorado Buffaloes.
The winger is Palace’s third signing after Lia Cataldo and Republic of Ireland international Hayley Nolan.
