Not long after, Comerford found the net again, converting a penalty to double Terenure's lead. Bonagee retaliated quickly with Bronagh Gallagher seizing a penalty opportunity and narrowing the gap to one.
Undeterred, Terenure regained their two-goal advantage when Leanne Payne curled an unreachable shot past Bonagee's keeper.
Sarah Ryan also joined the score sheet, striking a shot into the top corner after a clearance attempt by Bonagee's defence fell short.
The second half opened with Terenure's Leanne Payne making a brave effort on goal, thwarted by a swift move from Bonagee's keeper.
Despite continued pressure from Bonagee, Terenure managed to further extend their lead when Sarah Ryan slipped a deft touch underneath Bonagee's advancing keeper.
Ruth Comerford ensured a memorable final when she completed her hat-trick with a close-range strike to the roof of the net.
Although Bonagee fought till the last whistle, Terenure held their ground and returned to Dublin as the proud holders of the FAI Women's Amateur Cup.
