Academy goalkeeper signs first pro deal with Swansea City

Kit Margetson has signed his first professional contract with Swansea City.
The deal sees the goalkeeper secure his future with the club until the end of the 2025/26 season.
“Kit has worked extremely hard. He's worked his way up the ranks, and that has now been rewarded,” Swansea’s under 18 goalkeeping coach said, speaking to the club’s website.
“He's done amazingly well with Wales, and he has shown that when he plays for them, especially in Israel, and in the European Championships in Hungary.
"Not only does he work hard in training, but he also works hard outside training. He's always open to learning new things, and takes information on board really well. He is an asset to the club and academy.”
The Wales under-17 international made 15 appearances for Swansea’s under 18 side and was names on the bench for the under-21 side on several occasions this past season.
