Lucy Quinn signs two-year contract extension with Birmingham City Women

Lucy Quinn, the 29-year-old forward and Irish international, has penned a new two-year deal with Birmingham City Women that extends her stay until June 2025.

Across her two separate stints wearing royal blue, Quinn has made 96 appearances for the club. Her initial tenure spanned from 2017 to 2019, after which she moved away to Tottenham Hotspur.

During her impressive performance last season, Quinn notched up nine goals in 28 appearances. One of these strikes against Sheffield United won her the Club's Goal of the Season award at Awards 23.

On the international front, Quinn represented Great Britain at the 2017 World University Games, earning the golden boot award for scoring the most goals. The same year, she represented England at the 2017 Women's Euro Beach Soccer Cup and won the best goalkeeper award.

Quinn switched her international allegiance in September 2021 after receiving her Irish passport and FIFA approval to play for the Republic of Ireland women's national football team.

Quinn will represent Ireland at the upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup taking place in Australia and New Zealand having been named in Vera Pauw's squad.
