TREATY UNITED

Treaty United welcome Bray Wanderers to the Market’s Field on Friday night (kick-off is at 7.45pm).

The Shannonsiders are just five points behind the Seagulls in the play-off race but come into the game knowing the importance of not letting them pull away.

Just last week, Tommy Barrett’s side claimed a 2-0 win over Athlone Town on their travels.

Enda Curran opened the scoring before Willie Armshaw sealed the win late on with a goal in second half injury time.

But Treaty have failed to win in their last four home games at the Market’s Field.

BRAY WANDERERS

Bray Wanderers head coach Ian Ryan will be hoping that his side can make amends for their late outing against Treaty United when they visit the Market’s Field.

In the previous encounter between the two First Division play-off rivals, Barrett’s men ran out comprehensive 3-0 winners at the Carlisle Grounds.

And Ryan is keen for his side to hit back and copper-fasten their position in the play-off places.

“It’s going to be a difficult game for us,” he said. “We know what they are like; we know what they are about. They are really well organised, and hard to beat.

“They deservedly beat us the last time we met.

“We know what we’re up against. But for us, the focus has to be to look after ourselves.

“We are more than capable of going there and getting a result. We need to look after our own performance. If we do that, hopefully it goes for us.”

Referee: Daniel Murphy.
