Shamrock Rovers teenager Cian Barrett extends loan spell with Kerry
First Division new-boys Kerry have confirmed that Cian Barrett will remain on loan with the club until the end of the season.
Barrett, 18, has played 14 times for Billy Dennehy’s side since joining the Kingdom on loan from Shamrock Rovers before the start of the season.
13 of those 14 appearances have been starts, while one outing has come off the bench.
And his commitment for the second half of the campaign will provide the Kingdom a boost.
Kerry have claimed just win this term – a 3-2 win away to Athlone Town – but they have improved throughout the season.
And they will be looking to claim a scalp against league leaders Galway United on Friday night when they visit Eamonn Deacy Park.
Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
Kerry FC are delighted to announce that an agreement has been made with @ShamrockRovers to extend Cian Barrett's loan deal.
