Bristol Rovers have officially announced their latest acquisition, Jevani Brown, following his recent release from Exeter City.

The 28-year-old forward has signed a two-year deal with the club, with an option for a third year. Brown will be sporting the number 20 shirt for his new team.

Born in Letchworth, Brown kickstarted his football career with Peterborough United, and since then, he has gained experience with notable clubs such as Colchester and Cambridge. He also had a stint on loan at Forest Green Rovers.

Brown's impressive performance for Exeter in League One last season, where he netted 14 goals in 32 games, caught the attention of Rovers.

To date, he has scored a total of 75 goals in his career. In the last season's league games against Rovers, Brown showed his capabilities by scoring once and assisting two more goals.

Joey Barton, the manager of Bristol Rovers, expressed his excitement about the new addition to the team.

Barton said, "Jevani is an exciting talent. He can operate across the midfield and forward areas and will bring another dimension to our team. I am looking forward to welcoming him into our group and seeing him in action for the club."
