Abi Harrison, Bristol City's all-time record goalscorer, has renewed her contract, committing to the club until 2025.

Harrison celebrated her 100th City appearance in April on an iconic afternoon at BS3, where she scored a goal that helped secure the Barclays Women's Championship title for Lauren Smith's team.

The Scottish international, who has an impressive tally of 38 goals in Bristol City's red and white, is poised to continue her performances as the team prepares for a return to the top flight.

Upon signing the new deal, Harrison expressed her contentment with the club, stating, "I'm delighted to extend my stay at this club. Since I walked through the door it’s felt like home and I can’t wait to continue this journey."

Harrison went on to underscore her bond with the club and its fans, stating that signing the new contract was an obvious decision.

"I've been through a lot with this club and the fans and we've always supported each other, so when the offer to stay was there, it was an easy decision," she said.

Lauren Smith, the Head Coach, shared her enthusiasm about Harrison's contract extension.

She described Harrison as a "brilliant player and big character in our squad" and expressed her delight over Harrison's decision to continue her journey with the club.

"We're delighted to extend her contract and I know she will be a huge part of what we do next season," Smith added.
