League of Ireland clubs learn Europa Conference League fate with St Pat’s set for Luxembourg clash
St Patrick’s Athletic are set to face F91 Diddeleng (Dudelange) in the first round of the Europa Conference League qualifiers.
The Saints will visit Luxembourg first before hosting the second leg in Dublin – with all venues to be confirmed at a later date.
The Luxembourg outfit have previous experience in European competition against League of Ireland clubs – having played UCD and Bohemians.
However, they lost both ties.
Meanwhile, Derry City have been handed a favourable tie against Faroese side HB Torshavn.
The Candystripes will play the first leg away from home with the return leg set to take place at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium.
Elsewhere, Dundalk will play Gibraltarian side FCB Magpies.
