Bremer signs with Brighton until summer of 2025
Brighton has secured the services of attacker Pauline Bremer until the summer of 2025. The deal is subject to a successful visa application. The 27-year-old player marks the first signing of the summer for Brighton.
Brighton's head coach, Melissa Phillips, shared her enthusiasm about the new acquisition.
Phillips said, "We are delighted to welcome Pauline to the club as our first signing of the summer. She brings a wealth of experience in the women’s game across multiple leagues and has the winning mentality that we are trying to implement within our squad."
Bremer's illustrious career in professional football spans several clubs, including Wolfsburg, Manchester City, Olympique Lyonnais, and Turbine Potsdam.
Over the years, she has accumulated a host of accolades including two Women’s Champions League trophies, a Frauen Bundesliga title, three DFB Pokal Cups, two Feminine Division 1 titles, a Women’s FA Cup, two Coupe de France Feminine’s, and an FA Women’s League Cup.
In addition to her club successes, Bremer has also represented Germany at multiple levels.
Bremer was a part of the Germany U17 team that triumphed in the 2012 U-17 European Championship.
She continued to impress in the following year by clinching the top scorer prize at the 2013 UEFA U-19 European Championship with six goals to her credit.
She was then elevated to the Germany U20 team for the 2014 U-20 World Cup, where her pivotal contribution of five goals led the team to clinch the U-20 Women's World Cup trophy.
Bremer's senior national team debut arrived on her 18th birthday during a World Cup qualifier against Slovenia.
