Enda Stevens seeking new club as Sheffield United confirm departure of the Ireland defender
Republic of Ireland international Enda Stevens will be playing his football away from Bramall Lane next season as Sheffield United confirmed on Wednesday that the 30-year-old will leave the club after six years.
Stevens signed on a free transfer from Portsmouth in 2017 and helped propel the Blades into the Premier League in 2019.
Having reached the landmark of 200 appearances in all competitions this season, the former Shamrock Rovers defender played just 13 times this last campaign.
The club said Stevens leaves the club with “a lasting legacy”.
A pivotal player for the Bladesmen since he joined in 2017.
