Former UCD and Bohemians striker Ryan Swan joins Annagh United
Ryan Swan has completed a switch to Annagh United after departing Warrenpoint Town in the Northern Ireland Championship.
Swan, 27, joins Annagh after a tough end to the season with Warrenpoint.
The Point were denied a play-off place due to an issue surrounding their club licensing agreement with authorities.
And subsequently, the club were demoted to the Premier Intermediate, the third tier of the NIFL.
Annagh took Warrenpoint’s spot in the play-offs but were edged out 3-2 on aggregate by Dungannon Swifts.
As a result, Swan has left Warrenpoint to join Annagh – who will be hoping that he can propel them to promotion next season.
The former Bohemians and UCD hitman joined Warrenpoint initially in 2019 and has stayed there ever since.
While at the club, he made over 70 appearances for them.
He joins an Annagh United side that has former Longford Town and Bray Wanderers defender Paul Finnegan on their books.
